Regional Commercial Sales Account Manager

About the role

Drive outside commercial sales of flooring products to medium and large institutional buyers, generating leads, managing bids and overseeing commercial projects from start to finish.

What you will do

• Make daily sales calls on existing customers and prospect for new accounts across the territory
• Present products to builders, developers, designers, contractors and other decision makers
• Manage commercial projects end to end, including specification, ordering, delivery, installation and claims
• Follow up leads from sources such as store teams, networking groups and lead services
• Prepare proposals and responses to RFQs and RFPs after securing pricing and specification approval
• Coordinate with purchasing and inventory teams to confirm stock or arrange special orders

What they look for

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Three or more years of commercial industry sales experience, ideally in flooring or building materials
• Proven track record in outside sales
• Familiarity with the local market
• Experience with RFPs, commercial bids and construction sales
• Competence with a CRM tool such as Salesforce and Microsoft Office

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree
• Experience in a retail environment
