Remote Care Technician, Cardiac Rhythm Management

The cardiac rhythm team builds technology that helps doctors treat irregular heartbeats. Good work here means quick, accurate answers and customers who feel looked after.

At a glance

What you will do

• Take inbound calls from customers and sales staff about technical problems, complaints and adverse events
• Ask callers the right questions to pin down the issue and collect the details
• Handle orders and returns following set procedures, and trace shipments to give order status
• Join a rotation for after-hours on-call support, troubleshooting with customers and field staff
• Back up other service reps and take part in quality and productivity improvements

What they look for

• Fluent in English and French
• A two-year college diploma or equivalent, plus one to three years of relevant experience
• Comfortable with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and the SAP environment
• Solid grasp of order processing, material distribution and shipping or receiving
• Able to juggle several tasks and hit deadlines, with strong math and record keeping skills

A typical week

• Answering calls and emails from customers and the sales force
• Logging complaints and adverse events with the information callers provide
• Processing orders and returns and checking where shipments are
• Some weeks include on-call shifts outside normal hours
