Remote Travel Consultant, Emergency Service Center

About the role

Serve federal and military travelers by arranging business trips and resolving booking issues. The role combines customer advice with reservation work in a fast paced, multi account setting.

What you will do

• Book domestic and international trips covering flights, ground transport, rail and lodging for individuals and groups
• Build reservations that match each client's standards and preferences
• Advise travelers with informed suggestions that improve their overall trip experience
• Handle simple and complex bookings, including exchanges, multi destination itineraries and unusual fares
• Resolve problems before or during trips, including routine and unusual cases
• Research travel options, anticipate traveler needs and promote extra services using positive phone manner

What they look for

• At least three years of experience as a travel consultant
• Hands on knowledge of the Sabre global distribution system in local and global markets
• US citizenship, required by the federal government contract
• Genuine commitment to high quality customer service
• Solid written and verbal communication skills
• Team spirit, a positive outlook and willingness to keep learning

USD 39,200 to 72,800 per year
