Sales Engineer

About the role

Support the sales team and customers before the sale by demonstrating security solutions and showing how they address client needs. The role directly influences deal success and company results.

What you will do

• Demonstrate solutions, distinguish them from competitors and explain where they fit in the wider market
• Run proof-of-concepts independently, from appliance installation to helping prospects interpret data and presenting the value shown
• Identify business problems and compelling events, then propose the solution that best meets the requirement
• Assess prospect needs and uncover requirements for cloud security offerings
• Support qualifying opportunities by mapping technical capabilities to business drivers and scoping a bill of materials

What they look for

• A degree in computer science, information systems or a related area, or equivalent knowledge
• At least one year working directly with cloud concepts
• Experience in complex and strategic selling
• Deep grasp of enterprise architecture, risk management and protocols across layers 2 to 7
