Sales Director

About the role

A remote leadership role owning sales strategy, revenue growth and team performance. The director builds a high-performing sales organization and turns market opportunities into measurable results.

What you will do

• Develop and execute sales strategies tied to revenue and growth goals
• Lead, coach and develop sales staff toward individual and team targets
• Set quotas, KPIs, forecasts and performance management processes
• Grow existing accounts and pursue new business and market segments
• Oversee pipeline health and lead major negotiations, proposals and contracts
• Analyze market, competitor and sales data, and refine processes and reporting

What they look for

• Bachelor's degree in business, sales, marketing or equivalent experience
• Seven or more years of progressive sales work with leadership responsibility
• Record of meeting or beating revenue targets
• Experience coaching and building high-performing sales teams
• Knowledge of B2B sales, business development and account management
• Strong negotiation, presentation, analytical and forecasting skills, plus CRM experience
