What you will do

  • Act as the main technical contact for assigned customers, answering questions and advising on seat design and buildability
  • Run discovery with customers: clarify requirements, hold engineering reviews, scope projects
  • Help sales before award by reviewing specs, drafting technical proposals and judging material and design feasibility
  • Turn customer needs into drawings, specs and internal engineering documents for seat assemblies
  • Work with design, manufacturing engineering and quality so solutions are cost-effective and meet customer standards
  • Support validation, prototype builds, change management, pre-production trials and launch readiness
