What you will do
- Keep daily ledgers for two Australian entities, handling coding, journals, accruals, prepayments and inter-company entries
- Reconcile bank, card, loan, finance and petty cash accounts daily and resolve differences with a full audit trail
- Run supplier and customer accounts, including invoice matching, payment schedules, collections and credit terms
- Process fortnightly Australian payroll with deductions, leave, superannuation and STP reporting
- Prepare GST reconciliations and BAS workpapers for an external accountant or tax agent
- Build budgets, cash-flow and purchasing forecasts and produce monthly management reports with variance analysis
What they look for
- Degree in finance, accounting or a related discipline
- Five to six years of Australian bookkeeping experience supporting Australian businesses
- Australian bookkeeping or accounting qualification or certification
- Advanced MYOB EXO skills and ability to work without extensive system training
- Advanced Excel skills such as SUMIFS, COUNTIFS, lookups, pivot tables and budget models
- Practical knowledge of Australian GST, BAS, PAYG, payroll, superannuation and STP rules
