Senior Field Sales Representative

About the role

A field sales role focused on generating leads and closing cloud business across North America, working closely with a major cloud provider's sales team and internal marketing colleagues.

What you will do

• Cultivate strategic ties with cloud partner teams, senior executives and business leaders to promote cloud offerings
• Grow cloud opportunities inside the existing client base while also cold prospecting to drive revenue
• Reach prospects by phone, email, conferences and events to build lasting relationships
• Run in-person meetings with prospective clients to uncover needs and use cases
• Partner with cloud engineers to define use cases and support customer technical needs
• Plan events, campaigns and repeatable solutions together with sales and marketing

What they look for

• Bachelor's degree
• At least five years in technical sales and lead generation for enterprise cloud solutions, with a record of hitting targets
• Able to steer a complex sales cycle from prospecting and qualification through proposals, statements of work and contract talks
• Solid technical proficiency
• Capable of juggling several priorities and delivering strong customer service
• Excellent written and spoken communication plus strong organization, time management, detail and analytical skills

• Experience selling into retail or into transportation and logistics
