What you will do
- Own and evolve platform APIs and services with low-latency, resilient endpoints
- Build Spring Boot microservices using contract-first APIs and layered architecture
- Integrate platform services such as appointments, patients and messaging through domain contracts
- Improve reliability with caching, connection management and efficient data access
- Add observability and automate build and deploy pipelines
- Mentor engineers, lead design reviews and document patterns across the stack

- Five or more years building Java services in production
- Expertise in Spring Boot and REST API design with contract-first development
- Ability to contribute to Angular or React frontends when needed
- Experience with service and domain contracts and partner API integration
- Proficiency in data modeling, query optimization, caching and serialization
- Hands-on automated testing across unit, integration, component, contract and performance levels
Nice to have
- Understanding of messaging and async patterns such as ActiveMQ or Kafka
- Use of AI-assisted coding tools to speed up development
- Practical experience integrating GenAI or LLM features into backend systems
