Senior Manager, Global Meeting Planning

About the role

Leads the end-to-end planning of medical and scientific congresses, from timelines and budgets to vendors and onsite delivery. Works across departments to make each event on-brand, compliant and impactful.

What you will do

• Own the congress portfolio, setting objectives, plans, owners, timelines and success measures
• Manage and develop a meeting planner, building backup coverage for critical events
• Lead vendor relationships and track spending against the plan
• Oversee onsite staffing, materials, production, logistics and troubleshooting
• Capture feedback and lessons learned to improve future congresses

What they look for

• Experience with large medical or scientific congresses
• People management experience or clear readiness to lead a direct report
• Track record owning congress budgets and third-party vendors
• Strong planning and organisation across several complex workstreams
• Clear communication across functions, regions and time zones
