A senior backend role in an insurance technology practice, focused on moving ClaimCenter customizations from Gosu to Java and building scalable services and APIs.
What you will do
- Build and maintain scalable Java backend services and APIs inside the ClaimCenter environment
- Lead Gosu to Java conversion work, using LLM coding assistants to speed up and check the changes
- Study ClaimCenter configurations, rules, workflows and integrations, then rework Gosu customizations into maintainable Java
- Design RESTful APIs and microservices linking ClaimCenter with billing, policy, actuarial and external TPA systems
- Work with business analysts, claims experts and architects to gather needs and deliver sound technical solutions
- Take part in architecture discussions and weigh trade-offs between integration approaches
What they look for
- At least six years of relevant professional experience
- Strong expertise in Java programming
- Hands-on experience with the Guidewire ClaimCenter platform
- Solid backend engineering fundamentals
