Senior Software Engineer, AI

About the role

Join a team creating AI agents for public relations and communications users. You will take agent features from concept through to production and help decide how the technology evolves.

What you will do

• Develop agents with tools, prompts, safeguards and multi-turn workflows that retain memory
• Build in-product chat, streamed responses, permission-aware APIs and an external MCP server
• Create evaluations, detect regressions and use production feedback to improve quality, speed and cost
• Influence how agents are built, deployed and operated as the product expands
• Work across a Python agent runtime, an MCP server and a Django and Vue application

What they look for

• Seven or more years of production software development
• Track record of delivering LLM features or agents to real users, including exposing tools through MCP
• Practical grasp of prompting, tool use, context handling and model failure modes
• Experience measuring AI quality and acting on the findings
• Solid API and tool design, including authentication and authorization

Nice to have

• Experience with MCP servers and LLM tooling
• Knowledge of AI evaluation tools and methods such as DeepEval and LLM-as-judge
• Streaming interfaces, server-sent events and Vue.js
