A technical leadership role on a government program, blending product management with engineering direction. The work centers on architecture, system design and guiding delivery teams rather than hands-on coding.
What you will do
- Advise clients on technology strategy through a deep grasp of their mission goals
- Design end-to-end solutions and oversee implementation so all components fit together
- Guide cloud-native architecture work using Kubernetes, EKS, Aurora and other AWS services
- Lead senior client technical and business stakeholders on standards, compliance and best practice
- Spot key risks and assumptions, and steer research and proof-of-concept experiments
- Promote modern delivery practices and support the professional growth of team members
What they look for
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or a related field, or equivalent education and experience
- At least ten years of technical leadership or solution architecture on large products spanning multiple teams
- Solid grasp of Agile and DevSecOps principles and practices
Nice to have
- Experience building an inclusive environment and leading diverse teams
- Experience managing fully remote and distributed teams
- Business development experience
