An individual contributor role on a distributed security incident response team. The engineer handles high-priority alerts, performs forensics and helps scale response through automation and AI.
What you will do
- Respond to incidents within a distributed 24x7 on-call operation
- Triage security events and alerts and contain threats quickly
- Analyze multiple data sources to establish the timeline and impact of events
- Provide technical leadership and help shape team direction
- Build solutions using AI and agentic platforms to automate response work
- Mentor junior responders through guidance, design reviews and code reviews
What they look for
- Eligibility for an active US government Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree with seven or more years of incident response work, or a master's with five or more
- Cloud security expertise in AWS, GCP or Azure plus familiarity with the others
- Proficiency with AI, LLM and agentic capabilities
- Broad security knowledge and depth in several core incident response skills
- Experience with enterprise security and SaaS applications, plus SIEM and SOAR familiarity
Nice to have
- Top Secret clearance
- Prior experience building and running agentic systems in security
