What you will do

  • Carry out design and engineering tasks for high-voltage transmission lines in line with applicable codes
  • Produce and check drawings, specifications and calculations with input from lead engineers and project managers
  • Model lines in PLS-CADD and run structure loading calculations
  • Keep project managers informed on schedule and budget, and pick up new tools and automation along the way

  • Two or more years designing electric utility transmission systems
  • Hands on experience with PLS-CADD and PLS-POLE
  • Clear written and spoken communication, and the ability to work alone or on a team

  • EIT or PE certification
