What you will do

  • Take inbound and outbound calls on prior authorizations, benefits and utilization services, about 30 to 50 a day on phone duty
  • Review authorization requests and paperwork, research the details and support medical necessity decisions
  • Handle back-office work: case research, record updates, fixing errors and processing cases on time
  • Enter and check data across several systems, log every interaction and keep assigned work queues within service levels
