Account Executive

About the role

You will win new clients and grow joint opportunities with Microsoft field teams, turning complex business problems into solutions spanning AI, cloud, data and custom software.

What you will do

• Generate new business through prospecting, networking, referrals, outreach and partner relationships
• Run a co-sell strategy with Microsoft field sellers to find, progress and close shared opportunities
• Cultivate relationships with C-level executives, senior leaders and technology decision-makers
• Own the whole sales cycle, from qualification and discovery through proposal, negotiation and close
• Coordinate clients, Microsoft sellers and internal technical and delivery teams on complex pursuits

What they look for

• A bachelor's degree or an equivalent mix of education and relevant experience
• Five or more years in sales, with a record of winning new business and closing complex technology or services deals
• A proven ability to meet or exceed quotas
• Demonstrated skill in building pipeline proactively rather than relying on inbound leads or existing accounts

Nice to have

• Experience co-selling with Microsoft field teams or in the Microsoft partner ecosystem
• Existing relationships with Microsoft sales professionals such as Account Executives, Solution Specialists or Cloud Solution Architects
• Experience selling Microsoft services and solutions
