Account Executive, SLED (Midwest)

About the role

Drive sales of data storage, management and security solutions to state, local and education institutions across the Midwest. The role focuses on modernizing public sector infrastructure and growing territory revenue.

What you will do

• Run the full sales cycle in the SLED sector to hit quarterly and annual targets
• Win new accounts and grow existing ones
• Present all-flash storage and data platform offerings to varied public sector stakeholders
• Explain technical advantages as clear business value
• Lead pursuit teams with technical experts, product managers and channel partners
• Build account plans and long-term relationships from data center to boardroom

What they look for

• Proven success with SLED procurement, including RFIs, RFPs and contract negotiation
• Experience working with federal system integrators
• A challenger mindset and hunter instinct for new business
• Ability to handle complex sales cycles with many stakeholders
• Strong communication with technical and non-technical audiences
• Track record of managing a territory for maximum revenue using CRM tools
