Account Executive, Southern Territory

About the role

Public safety and control room customers need workspaces that hold up under daily use, and the sales cycle runs from first call to installation. Success means a steady pipeline, accurate forecasts and designs that install without surprises.

At a glance

What you will do

• Work warm inbound leads and referrals, cold-call targets and attend trade shows and association events
• Keep Salesforce current with every call, meeting and email, and forecast production and activity
• Run onsite sales calls and record field dimensions and equipment details to prevent installation problems
• Advise customers on workspace needs and features for dispatch, emergency operations, utility and hospital control rooms
• Keep the design team and customer designers in sync while new business keeps coming in

What they look for

• High school diploma or GED required; a four-year degree or equivalent industry experience preferred
• At least two years of outside business-to-business sales preferred
• Comfortable with regular travel including 3 to 8 overnights per month
• Able to plan a territory and stay organized on details
• Coachable and persistent, and works well both solo and with a team

Nice to have

• Experience selling to public safety agencies, healthcare facilities or command centers
