Accounting Manager, Financial Products and Services

About the role

Manages complex operational accounting for financial products, keeping records accurate and reporting timely and compliant. Works with finance and other teams to improve processes and support sound decisions.

What you will do

• Oversee preparation, review and analysis of complex journal entries, reconciliations and schedules
• Interpret accounting guidance for new or unusual transactions and document conclusions for auditors
• Coordinate month-end and quarter-end close for assigned areas, resolving variances and discrepancies
• Build and maintain standard operating procedures, controls and documentation for key processes
• Partner with finance, tax, treasury and business teams on general ledger matters
• Analyze account trends and prepare clear summaries for management reviews

What they look for

• At least eight years of professional accounting experience in corporate or public accounting
• Advanced accounting knowledge applied to complex operational activities
• Ability to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial records
• Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional partners
