Accounts Payable Manager

About the role

Oversee the full accounts payable cycle for an insurance technology firm. The role keeps billing accurate, tracks expenses and supports reporting and audits.

What you will do

• Handle all accounts payable work, from matching invoices to agreements to entering bills and applying payments
• Post journal entries in NetSuite, covering accruals, prepayment amortization and departmental expense allocation
• Study spending patterns using solid accounting knowledge
• Talk with vendors and approving managers about billing, payments and terms
• Help prepare monthly financial reports and analysis
• Give department heads reports on payments made and amounts still owed

What they look for

• A degree in accounting plus at least three years of relevant experience
• Strong analytical, communication and problem solving abilities
• Ownership mindset with demonstrated leadership and follow through
• Careful attention to detail and comfort with repetitive or multiple tasks
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with accounting systems such as NetSuite
