A remote Texas role managing family law cases as lead attorney, from strategy through court appearances, with autonomy and client contact.
What you will do
- Manage divorce, custody, support, property division, modification and enforcement matters
- Act as lead attorney and own case strategy from intake to resolution
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery and settlement agreements
- Research law and develop practical case strategies
- Represent clients as lead counsel in hearings, mediations and negotiations
- Advise clients on rights, options and risks, and coordinate with support staff
What they look for
- An active Texas Bar license in good standing
- At least two years of relevant family law experience
- Experience serving as lead attorney on your own cases
- Lead courtroom or hearing experience
- Strong research, drafting, negotiation and case management skills
- Familiarity with Texas family law procedures and local court practices
Pay
USD 135,000 to 195,000 per year
