Builds and manages multi-year strategies to cultivate and solicit major gifts, mainly from individual donors plus corporate, foundation and institutional funders. The role focuses on discovering and qualifying new prospects while stewarding an established portfolio.

What you will do
- Build and manage a portfolio of 50 to 85 donors and prospects able to give at least USD 100,000
- Conduct 40 to 75 visits and 150 to 250 moves each year
- Reach an annual fundraising goal of USD 2,000,000 or more once the portfolio matures, plus a bequest target
- Make direct asks for both global and local priorities
- Discuss gifts of assets, planned gifts and real estate, and include blended gifts in proposals
- Manage assigned trustee relationships and volunteer engagement, and use the donor database
