What you will do
- Build and operate MCP servers, covering tool design, authentication, multi-tenant security and deployment
- Create LLM agents that call tools and coordinate multiple agents
- Test and evaluate agent behaviour and add production observability
- Write backend services in Python for AI work and Java for platform integration
- Take part in design and architecture talks, weighing scaling, reliability and maintainability
- Review code, flag technical debt and break tasks into manageable pieces
What they look for
- At least four years of backend-heavy development with Java and Python, including substantial agentic AI work
- Comfort with data structures, relational databases and SQL
- Experience with microservices
- Able to work independently on well-defined problems through to completion
- Strong English, written and spoken, and residence in Brazil, Colombia, the Dominican Republic or Mexico
Nice to have
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, especially GCP, and with containers, caching and distributed systems
