Business Development Director

About the role

Leads growth of hospital and health system partnerships for acute kidney care in assigned markets, working with operations and other internal teams to build and execute expansion plans.

What you will do

• Drive new hospital services business and develop priority health system relationships
• Analyze market trends with division leaders and set growth plans for revenue and capital goals
• Source, develop and negotiate renal partnership agreements with hospitals and systems
• Build relationships across operations, finance, legal, strategy and payer teams
• Prepare and present executive materials to internal leaders and external partners
• Track accounts and opportunities in Salesforce and other internal tools

What they look for

• Bachelor's degree
• Substantial healthcare industry experience, such as medical device strategic sales or health system growth
• Knowledge of industry dynamics including reimbursement, cost, quality and hospital purchasing
• Strong relationship building and collaboration skills

Nice to have

• MBA, MPH or another relevant graduate degree
• Prior experience developing new hospital and system relationships
• Management consulting, private equity, investment banking or pharmaceutical experience
