Business Development Manager, Financial Institution Sales

About the role

A remote inside sales role focused on keeping and expanding revenue from a large portfolio of smaller banks and credit unions across North America. The person sets territory plans and builds client ties to grow business and improve retention.

What you will do

• Oversee and expand a revenue portfolio worth roughly 10 to 15 million dollars or more
• Build and carry out a sales activity plan that meets revenue and growth targets
• Take ownership of monthly, quarterly and yearly sales goals with concrete action plans
• Cultivate client relationships that keep satisfaction high and accounts retained
• Work with clients to learn their needs and tailor solutions accordingly
• Manage forecasts, grow the pipeline and support sales campaigns while following set processes

What they look for

• Bachelor degree in business administration, sales, marketing or a similar discipline
• Track record of selling into smaller accounts and growing revenue, ideally in financial services
• At least two years of sales experience, with financial institution work preferred
• Comfort using Salesforce and dashboards such as Power BI to track pipelines
