Client Relationship Manager

About the role

A relationship role serving large and elite advisor plan clients and their financial professionals. The aim is a smooth service experience, product uptake and plan retention.

What you will do

• Act as the main contact for assigned plan accounts and their financial advisors
• Resolve escalated client and advisor issues and prevent further escalation
• Advise clients and coordinate strategies with sales, service and operations partners
• Build ties with C level decision makers to shape education and communication plans
• Review the book of business to spot retention risks and plan outreach campaigns
• Cross sell products and services while tracking data, contacts and escalations

What they look for

• Bachelor's degree in business or a related field, or comparable work experience
• At least five years in direct client relationships within financial services administration
• Familiarity with regulatory, financial, accounting, service, operations and compliance matters
• Ability to handle confidential data securely and properly
• Strong client focus, teamwork and proactive problem solving

Nice to have

• Seven or more years in the retirement services industry
• Certification or progress toward one such as ASPPA or CEBS
