About the role

The role drives new business among independent food customers in a local territory, building a pipeline and tailoring offers that save clients time and money. Success is measured by profit targets and growth, with an uncapped bonus on offer.

What you will do

• Find, pursue and close new independent business opportunities to keep the pipeline full
• Build strong relationships with independent players in the local food market
• Create tailored culinary propositions that help customers save time and money
• Hit profit targets and grow the territory
• Onboard new clients with support from an area sales manager
• Track competitors and independent market trends to share useful insights

What they look for

• A commercial mindset with drive and ambition to deliver against targets
• Confidence to work out in the field with customers at the centre of everything
• Ideally a background similar to field sales, though this is not essential

Nice to have

• Food service or hospitality experience would be an advantage
