Business Development Manager

About the role

Drive business development for legged robotic systems among US public safety and military customers, managing sales channels, demonstrations and pipeline accuracy.

What you will do

• Own all public safety business development in the US
• Manage B2B reseller accounts and a B2G direct sales channel, including after-sales support
• Keep the sales pipeline accurate in a CRM and track associated metrics
• Coordinate product demonstrations, training and trade marketing events for public safety clients
• Work with the program management office on responses to government RFIs and RFPs
• Help refine sales operations processes and territory business plans with the business development director

What they look for

• Five or more years of government, military or public safety business development or sales experience
• Familiarity with US government procurement and acquisition procedures
• Strong time management, analytical ability and communication skills
• Proven ability to manage relationships with sales partners and customers
• A bachelor's degree in business administration, sales or a related field, or equivalent experience
• US citizenship, ability to pass a background check and willingness to travel domestically, sometimes on short notice
