Business Development Manager, Software Sales

About the role

The manager independently grows and manages business in an assigned region, covering domestic and international markets. The role combines business planning, sales leadership and regular reporting to management.

What you will do

• Create a detailed business plan for the assigned region
• Lead sales and marketing activities through a shared team to reach targets
• Report planned versus actual business results to the board or management
• Present the company and its products as a brand ambassador
• Manage different sales cycles from start to finish to meet targets

What they look for

• Experience selling SaaS software, or serving BFSI customers or government agencies
• A strong analytical and inquisitive mind able to spot and report market trends
• A B.Tech or B.E. in computer science or IT, or any degree with at least five years in an IT or software company
• An MBA or PGDM in marketing
• A professional attitude, good communication, presentation and negotiation skills
• Tangible proof of past performance
