Business Development Manager

About the role

A field sales role covering a northern territory, managing national account customers in the merchant distribution market to grow sales and margin.

What you will do

• Deliver the regional sales and margin budget
• Build strategies that meet company targets
• Grow market share across national accounts
• Track success and activity through the CRM system
• Manage and educate existing and prospective customers in the merchant distribution market

What they look for

• Solid field sales background in the construction industry
• At least two years of field sales experience with a record of results
• Ability to plan the territory strategically to lift sales and profit
• Skill at building lasting customer relationships
• IT literacy and hands-on knowledge of CRM systems
• Strong communication, presentation and negotiation abilities, plus a clean driving licence and residence in the area
