Capex Accounting Manager

About the role

Owns accounting for a large capital program, from cost coding at purchase order through capitalization, close, disclosure and audit. Sets policy before transactions go live and supports cross-functional partners.

What you will do

• Own end-to-end PP&E and lease accounting, including capitalization costing and month-end close
• Maintain the capex-to-opex bridge, support external audits and partner with FP&A, Tax and Ops
• Own lease accounting from classification and ROU accounting through modifications and disclosures
• Own the SAP footprint including Asset Accounting, Project System and Materials Management
• Build and run data and reporting layers such as SQL and BigQuery pipelines and reconciliations
• Grow, mentor and develop the team

What they look for

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
• Current or past CPA or CA certification
• 3 years operating SAP Asset Accounting, Project System and Materials Management

Nice to have

• 5 years of direct people management experience
• Data and analytics capability with SQL or BigQuery
• Familiarity with group/composite-asset method, overhead capitalization and business combinations

Pay

USD 102,900 to 166,600 per year
