Enterprise Development Representative

About the role

A role focused on finding and qualifying new enterprise business opportunities, building a sales pipeline and supporting account executives in closing deals with large organisations.

What you will do

• Research and target enterprise prospects that fit the ideal customer profile
• Use prospecting tools, cold calls and email campaigns to generate new leads
• Run personalised outreach to senior decision makers and C-suite executives
• Qualify leads against agreed criteria covering problem, authority, need and timeline
• Book and confirm discovery meetings and product demos for account executives
• Keep CRM records current and work with marketing and sales leadership to improve lead generation

What they look for

• At least two years in business development, sales development or lead generation, ideally in SaaS or technology
• A record of generating qualified leads and beating quotas in enterprise sales
• Understanding of enterprise sales cycles and complex organisational structures
• Clear written and verbal communication, including explaining complex ideas simply
• Hands-on use of CRM software such as Salesforce and sales engagement platforms like Salesloft or Outreach
• Self-motivated, results-driven and able to work both independently and in a team

Nice to have

• Experience with international markets and global HR or payroll solutions
