Enterprise Internship, Finance, Accounting and Revenue Cycle

About the role

A summer internship offering hands-on work in financial, accounting or revenue cycle operations across a health system. Interns support budgeting, analysis, cost accounting and billing projects under departmental guidance.

What you will do

• Build automated processes in Excel spreadsheets to reduce manual effort
• Review, analyze and investigate charge discrepancies and help apply needed corrections
• Prepare financial and statistical analysis and extract data for trend and performance measurement
• Support cost accounting and productivity standards, proformas, budgeting and variance analysis
• Help prepare, communicate and monitor operating and capital budgets
• Assist with revenue cycle projects such as cash posting, insurance follow up and coding work queues

What they look for

• Currently pursuing a degree in finance or a related field
• No licensure, registration or certification required
• Availability for up to 40 hours per week on weekday business hours during the summer term
• Residence in one of the approved states for remote work
