Finance Segment Manager

About the role

Leads financial analysis, planning and data work for assigned business segments. Supports financial reporting and turns operational and financial data into insight for senior leaders.

What you will do

• Manage financials for assigned accounts or product lines, including monthly close, P&L review and reconciliations
• Consolidate and analyze financial data to explain results and identify drivers
• Coordinate with operations, finance, accounting, IT and sales and present findings to leadership
• Lead projects that may span one or several locations
• Coach and review the work of less experienced professionals
• Audit operations periodically to confirm controls are effective

What they look for

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field
• Six or more years in accounting or finance
• Advanced grasp of concepts such as operating margin, cash flow, balance sheet and return on equity
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel
• Clear verbal and written communication and the ability to influence others

Nice to have

• Master's degree in accounting or finance
• Programming or relational database design and query skills
• Microsoft Power BI experience
