Finance Training and Support Manager

About the role

A role within a finance resource centre, building and running learning programmes and communications that strengthen staff financial skills. The person also advises on accounting questions and helps improve finance systems and processes.

What you will do

• Plan and coordinate finance training programmes and learning solutions for staff.
• Design, build and maintain curricula delivered through several formats and methods.
• Write and give communications on finance processes and answer technical accounting queries.
• Spot knowledge and training gaps and address them with practical resources.
• Support improvements to finance systems and tools, keeping documentation current.
• Coordinate cross-functional work and analyse options to solve process problems.

What they look for

• A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or business administration, or equivalent.
• Around five years of related experience, or a comparable combination of background.
• Knowledge of accounting principles, practices and regulations.
• A record of leading and delivering several projects at once.
• Familiarity with current technology used in the field.
• Experience collaborating with teams across a large organisation.

Nice to have

• Coursework or training in curriculum design, distance learning and web-based design.
