Full Stack Engineer

About the role

An experienced full stack engineer is needed to support customer initiatives, building production-grade interfaces and scalable services with a strong React focus plus Python or Java.

What you will do

• Build and improve core services for customer intake, screening and data dissemination
• Diagnose performance bottlenecks and architectural problems
• Own implementation end to end across the whole stack
• Propose data-driven solutions that work at scale
• Mentor developers and lead engineering teams to deliver quality software

What they look for

• Eight or more years of full stack development experience
• At least five years of hands-on React work
• Strong Java web development and distributed systems background
• Production React skills covering components, routing, state management, APIs and optimization
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools for design, testing and troubleshooting
• Proficiency with Git, branching, code review and CI/CD, plus AWS or another cloud

Nice to have

• Familiarity with refugee and immigrant communities or social programs
• Knowledge of procurement and acquisition processes
• Experience integrating AWS SDKs such as S3
• Understanding of Section 508 accessibility standards and modern UI/UX principles
