General Virtual Assistant, Customer Service

About the role

A front-line assistant who handles customer calls, books plumbing visits and coordinates dispatch, plus general office administration for a small service business.

What you will do

• Take incoming calls from new and returning customers and gather their details
• Book plumbing appointments around technician availability and coordinate routing
• Keep the calendar and customer records accurate and current
• Handle email, online chat and follow-up calls with customers
• Route urgent or complex matters to the owner with the needed context
• Support basic invoicing and payment follow-up as needed

What they look for

• Background in customer service, virtual assistance, scheduling, dispatch or admin
• Strong spoken and written communication skills
• Comfortable on the phone and able to stay organised in a busy setting
• Able to manage scheduling tasks with little supervision
• Accurate record keeping and attention to detail
