Support employment law compliance, policy governance and risk management across the United States and Canada, helping HR and business leaders meet legal and regulatory requirements.
What you will do
- Track and interpret changes in employment law and regulations
- Draft and maintain HR policies, procedures and employee-facing documents
- Run compliance audits and risk assessments, and support workplace investigations
- Help with agency audits, inquiries and litigation support
- Create compliance communications and training, and keep records and tracking tools current
- Recommend process improvements and risk mitigation strategies
What they look for
- Experience with multi-state and Canadian employment law
- Skills in legal research, handbook development, compliance auditing, leave and accommodation compliance, and records management
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Nice to have
- A JD, paralegal certification or other legal background
- Workplace investigation experience
