International Business Development Manager

About the role

This role drives export sales growth for an Australian medical imaging manufacturer, finding and developing new business and growing distributor and customer relationships through to close. It is fully remote and self directed.

What you will do

• Build a data driven plan of which countries, distributors and customers to target, with clear reasoning
• Generate your own leads using prospecting tools and AI tools
• Research and assess new distributors and resellers, then move suitable ones through approval and onboarding
• Serve as main contact for assigned distributors, holding regular calls and tracking performance against agreements
• Track every open opportunity through to close, providing quotes, pricing, product details and tender support
• Train distributors on products and sales, and run monthly campaigns and a quarterly newsletter with marketing

• Established sales skills in place from day one
• Clear communication that is easy to understand for people whose first language is not English
• Ability to work independently without a script or playbook
• Willingness to be based in the Philippines and work full time with core AEST overlap
• Readiness to travel for in person training in Australia soon after onboarding
