Senior Finance Business Partner

About the role

A senior finance role in a newly formed planning and analysis team, shaping financial planning and commercial decisions across the business and supporting strategic initiatives.

What you will do

• Act as commercial advisor to department heads, turning financial detail into clear strategic options
• Challenge business cases, hiring plans and commercial assumptions using rigorous return data
• Support appraisal, scenario planning and business case frameworks for major initiatives and launches
• Help prepare rolling forecasts and annual budgets aligned with business priorities
• Build dynamic models linking operational drivers such as traffic and ad metrics to revenue, margin and cash
• Lead deep dives into profitability and pricing, and work with data teams on automated reporting models

What they look for

• Seven or more years in finance, planning and analysis or finance business partnering
• Background in digital, adtech, marketplace, SaaS or platform businesses
• Experience building or transforming processes rather than only maintaining them
• Strong financial analysis, large dataset handling, Excel and modelling skills
• Ability to explain complex financial topics to non-financial colleagues across functions
• Bachelor's or master's degree in finance, economics or a related field

Nice to have

• Professional certification such as ACCA, CFA or CIMA
• Prior Big Four experience
• Experience with two-sided business models or marketplace economics
