Key Account Manager

About the role

An individual contributor sales role focused on launching a new kidney transplant product in a defined territory. The person builds the initial sales base and drives revenue targets for the launch.

What you will do

• Create strategic account plans that identify key opportunities and stakeholders and grow product use in suitable patients.
• Cultivate lasting professional ties with prescribers, hospital teams, transplant staff and others along the care pathway.
• Work through complicated hospital, academic and transplant settings to reach decision makers and gain access.
• Answer customer questions within approved labeling and sales training, routing inquiries to the right partners.
• Track account decisions affecting access and plan for formulary placement and inclusion in electronic medical records.
• Coordinate with market access, medical, operations, marketing and trade colleagues on territory and national issues.
