About the role

Lead the eligibility portfolio for a pharmacy benefits business, directing several engineering teams and modernizing eligibility processing from on-premises systems to a cloud data platform and API layer.

What you will do

Direct migration of clients to the modern platform and retirement of legacy components
Own release management, deployment safety and incident response for critical services
Manage production support and SLA adherence across owned systems
Oversee vendor relationships, contingent staffing, budget and resource allocation

What they look for

Ten or more years in healthcare IT, with at least two leading application or system teams at director or senior manager level
Strong client-facing production support including incident response and executive reporting
Experience managing a mixed full-time and contingent workforce
Proficiency in cloud engineering fundamentals such as scalable, secure API and datastore design

Nice to have

Experience establishing Agile delivery practices
