Manager, M&A Accounting

About the role

Join a small corporate team handling the accounting and reporting side of acquisitions, divestitures and joint venture reorganisations, plus impairment testing and deal integration reviews.

What you will do

• Help account for and report on acquisitions and divestitures
• Draft accounting work plans and coordinate their execution with business units
• Plan and coordinate reviews of acquisition integrations
• Carry out technical accounting analysis for local and central teams
• Support annual goodwill and intangibles impairment testing, including DCF models
• Help oversee M&A accruals and invoices

What they look for

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics or business
• At least three years working on acquisitions and divestitures

Nice to have

• Master's degree in a finance or accounting field plus an active CPA licence
• Five or more years executing complex M&A transactions, including integration and carve-out accounting
• Deep experience with Hyperion Financial Management and enterprise ERP systems such as Dynamics 365, SAP S/4HANA or Oracle
• A record of mentoring colleagues and guiding them on complex accounting matters

USD 96,000 to 192,000 per year
