Product Sales Specialist, West

About the role

A sales role focused on storage and analysis product lines across the western United States. The specialist builds demand from scratch, owns the full sales cycle and shapes go to market strategy.

What you will do

• Build a business plan with leadership and cross functional partners to beat sales targets
• Work with regional sales managers on qualified opportunities and close plans
• Develop tactics that grow the storage and analysis business and inform the product roadmap
• Own the sales process from lead generation through closing
• Explain product value to customers from engineers up to executives
• Forecast reliably and meet targets for the product lines

What they look for

• Five or more years in enterprise or strategic sales or pre-sales
• Background in security, including SIEM and observability, or IT infrastructure
• A track record of building sales motions without an existing playbook
• Willingness to travel across the US about a quarter to a third of the time
• Residence within the western territory
