The role leads a regional sales operation, setting strategy and hitting branch targets while building and coaching a team of sales staff. It also strengthens relationships with customers, suppliers and vendors and shapes budgets and process improvements.

What you will do

• Recommend sales strategy and customer plans to the sales director using data and experience
• Recruit, mentor and manage sales staff, set development plans and give regular feedback
• Grow relationships with key customer, supplier and vendor contacts through strong service
• Raise management presence at customer accounts to reach decision makers
• Handle budgeting and planning and lead process improvement based on data
• Grow high potential representatives toward future management positions

What they look for

• At least twelve years of related experience with a four year degree, or eight years with an advanced degree, or equivalent experience
• Experience leading managers, supervisors or professional staff
• Accountability for the performance and results of several related units
• Ability to build departmental plans covering business, production or organisational priorities
• Skill in applying functional knowledge and existing methods to complex problems
• Willingness to travel to an office when leadership requests it
