Sales Development Representative

About the role

Generate qualified sales opportunities by reaching out to manufacturing companies, understanding their production problems and booking demos for account executives. The role is described as a starting point for a sales career.

What you will do

• Prospect and engage new manufacturing companies by phone, email and LinkedIn
• Qualify opportunities by operational pain, fit and urgency
• Work with account executives to move deals forward
• Keep pipeline, activity tracking and client records accurate in the CRM
• Meet sales targets and review your numbers regularly

What they look for

• One to two years in sales or customer support, ideally in manufacturing
• Strong interest in B2B sales, with manufacturing or tech as a plus
• Comfort with outbound prospecting, cold outreach and handling rejection
• A competitive, self-motivated and results-driven mindset
• Good organisation and the ability to handle a high volume of activity
• Clear communication and the ability to explain complex ideas simply

Nice to have

• Experience with CRM platforms such as HubSpot
• Experience in SaaS, manufacturing or construction industries
• Exposure to manufacturing, construction or technical products
