About the role

Remote and built around the federal sales cycle, with a sales counterpart and a wider solution consulting group. Success means proof-of-value work that shows measurable security posture gains.

At a glance

What you will do

• Run technical discovery with federal buyers, covering security gaps, compliance rules and existing assets.
• Give tailored demos and deep dives on visibility across IT, IoT, OT, cloud and cross-domain networks.
• Build and run proof-of-value trials in live federal settings, from data collection to analytics checks.
• Work with the sales counterpart through qualification, close and events such as briefings and trade shows.
• Pass federal requirements and compliance gaps back to product management and share reusable assets with the team.

What they look for

• Five or more years in pre-sales consulting, sales engineering or solutions architecture, ideally in security or IT operations.
• Direct work with Federal, DoD or Federal System Integrator customers.
• Hands-on depth in Linux, virtualization, AWS, Azure or GCP, and Python scripting.
• Familiarity with frameworks such as CMMC, FedRAMP, NIST, STIG or CSfC.
• A background in IT, IoT or OT security, industrial control systems or critical infrastructure.

Nice to have

• Exposure to AI and machine learning in security, including detection, analytics or agent governance.
