Senior Finance Analyst, Reporting

About the role

A senior reporting role in a finance reporting and controls team. The analyst owns core financial statements, delivers statutory reporting to shareholders and advises on technical accounting.

What you will do

• Own the monthly balance sheet and cash flow statement end to end
• Lead balance sheet reviews with senior leadership and provide insight into performance
• Produce statutory financial reporting for external parties and shareholders
• Partner with the business on finance leases and fixed assets, advising on accounting effects
• Coordinate external audits and manage auditor requests
• Drive automation and process improvement across financial systems and controls

What they look for

• A qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA) with post-qualification experience in technical accounting, statutory reporting or audit
• Practical knowledge of IFRS and IAS standards, including IFRS 16, IAS 16, IAS 38 and IAS 36
• Experience owning balance sheet and cash flow statements and delivering external audits
• Proficiency in Excel and Word and hands-on use of modern finance ERP systems
