Senior QA Automation Engineer (AI-Focused)

About the role

Drive the test automation strategy and build robust test suites that keep products reliable across multiple services and platforms. The role pairs core QA engineering with the use of AI tools to speed up testing work.

What you will do

• Work with developers and product managers on acceptance criteria and test coverage
• Wire automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and track execution results
• Review code, coach junior QA engineers and spread automation best practices
• Investigate defects and report them with clear reproduction steps and logs
• Apply AI tools to test generation, debugging and defect analysis

What they look for

• At least six years of professional QA automation experience
• Strong programming in JavaScript or TypeScript and in Python
• Experience testing RESTful APIs with Postman, REST Assured or Insomnia
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions or GitLab CI
• Solid grasp of testing principles, test design and QA methods, plus Git and Agile/Scrum

Nice to have

• Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or Gatling
• Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS
• ISTQB or similar certification
• Experience with contract testing or TDD/BDD
